Voi tosiaan johtua jostain muustakin kuin prossusta. Olisi kiva kuulla 16-ytimisten kokemuksia kääntyilyistä.
Kasiydin ei ole ihan optimi tuohon peliin, koska:
"From what I could see, Monster Hunter Wilds can effectively use up to 12 CPU cores. In total, we saw the game using 14 of the 16 CPU cores of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. So, this is another game that runs noticeably faster on CPUs that have over 8 CPU cores.".
Monster Hunter Wilds will come out in a few days and it's a very CPU-bound game. So, can the AMD Ryzen 7950X3D brute force its way?

This mod replaces the DirectStorage DLL files with DLLs from DirectStorage 1.2.3, which resolves eggregious I/O stutters due to asset and texture decompression and loading.

Hi all, upgrading direct storage files dstoragecore.dll and dstorage.dll fixed all my stutter issues with the game running on Windows 11. You can also delete the two files but Direct storage will be disabled causing further performance issues or the game just not running. The files can be...

"For the people who don't know how to do this.
Step 1: Download the DirectStorage Package
Go to this website:

Microsoft.Direct3D.DirectStorage (NuGet)
Click Download package on the right side of the page.
This will download a file named something like:
microsoft.direct3d.directstorage.1.2.3.nupkg
Step 2: Extract the Files
Find the .nupkg file you just downloaded. It’s usually in your Downloads folder.
Right-click on the file and rename it to:
microsoft.direct3d.directstorage.1.2.3.zip
We’re renaming it so Windows recognizes it as a zip file.
Extract the ZIP file by right-clicking it and selecting:
"Extract All..." (Windows built-in)
OR "Extract Here" (if you use WinRAR or 7-Zip)
Step 3: Locate the DirectStorage Files
Open the extracted folder.
Inside, you'll see a bunch of folders—look for one named Native and open it.
Then open the folder called Bin.
Then open the folder called x64.
Inside the x64 folder, you’ll find these two files:
dstoragecore.dll
dstorage.dll
Step 4: Replace the Game's DirectStorage Files
Find where your game is installed.
If it's on Steam:
Open Steam.
Right-click the game in your Library.
Click Manage > Browse Local Files (this opens the game folder).
Look for dstoragecore.dll and dstorage.dll inside the game’s folder.
Backup the original files (just copy them somewhere safe).
Copy the new files (dstoragecore.dll and dstorage.dll from the NuGet package).
Paste them into the game folder, replacing the old ones.
Step 5: Test the Game
Launch the game and check if the stuttering and FPS drops are fixed.
If the game has issues, restore the original files from your backup."
