Euroopassa on kyllä meno kokoajan naurettavampaan suuntaa. Käteisrajotukset, mahdollinen keskuspankin digieuro jo tämän vuoden puolella, sun muut kehitykset saa tosiaan arvostamaan bitcoinia vaihtoehtoisena rahana vielä enemmän. Mitään rikollista ei tarvitse edes puuhailla, voi vaihtaa maisemaa ja säilyttää rahansa bitcoineina. Sama maisemanvaihdos olisi aika paljon haastavampaa, jos omaisuus on melkein missä tahansa muussa muodossa.

Tuolla tavalla minäkin olen asian ymmärtänyt. Bitcoin voi erottaa rahan valtiosta, mutta lopulta se vaatii myös yksilön irtoamisen valtiosta. Eurooppalainen elämä ja talous ei ole kovin kilpailukykyinen ja tulevat sodat uhkaavat pahentaa tilannetta. Suomen suunta on pohjalle eurooppalaisessa vertailussa. Kryptojen kontrolliyritykset ja/tai kriminalisointi on ihan realistinen kuva tulevaisuudesta.

Sanottakoon vielä että itse olen liian vanha jo lähtemään. Pidän pitkoa vain sen verran, että kun titanic alkaa kallistua, tilaan yksin baaritiskillä tuplaviskin ja kuuntelen orkesterin viimeisen kappaleen.
