Dear All,
I hope that you are doing well and that unlike here in the Czech Republic, the cold weather has not returned to you.
I thought it was important to send all of you a quick update regarding order shipping and current delays as I would like to avoid disappointing you. Some of you know that I have recently spend a few days in hospital and returned home. Unfortunately it turned out that the release came too early and I am now back at the hospital for further observation and some tests. Unfortunately I will have to stay here for the rest of the week with the outlook of returning home just before the weekend. No dangerous or life-threatening diagnosis has been made therefore it is safe to assume that it is not a serious condition but I have been ordered to rest (a lot) and still have to undergo some tests.
Unfortunately this means that Beerdome.cz is lacking the ability to ship all the orders we currently have on backlog as well as taking care of all emails and messages within an acceptable timeframe. Your orders have not been lost and we do intend to ship them as soon as possible but we will still need a bit longer than we initially anticipated. The same applies to responding to emails as this is currently being taking care of by my partner. However, as she also takes care of our four months old daughter, this too is challenging.
Those of you who know us, either because we personally met, or we were communicating by emails / messages, know that Beerdome.cz is only run by two people, my partner and I. While this means that we are able to take care of your beers with a personal touch, unfortunately it also means that if something unforeseen happens, it has a great impact on you and on us.
Going forward, we will change this and we will be looking to bring someone onboard to support us and work with us on order fulfillment.
Long story short, I wanted to quickly inform you about what is currently going on and why order shipping has temporarily been limited to non-heavy packages (smaller orders which my partner can pack and carry). I know many of you are wondering about the status of your order and I want to make sure that you know we haven't forgotten about you.
I do not expect any further complications and I do expect to finally be released from hospital on Friday which will allow me to get additional rest over the weekend and then slowly come back to ship your orders and support my partner with anything administrative such as emails, messages and so on. I understand that the long wait is frustrating and I do apologize for the inconvenience this causes but we will get back on track and will send you individual updates regarding your order. We would just like to ask you for a little bit more patience.
