Nostetaanpa hypeä Frank Azorin haastattelusta, joka oli alun perin espanjankielinen, redditissä siitä käännös:
"In an exclusive interview with Costa Rican Tech Youtuber Michael Quesada, Frank Azor (Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions and Gaming Marketing at AMD) revealed the reason for AMDs handling of the Radeon RX 9070/9070 XT announcements."

Muutamia poimintoja:
-"Michael: People were expecting an announcement about the 9070/9070XT, and we were left asking what happened with the cards? Where is the announcement?
Frank: Well, here we are! I can tell you everything is on schedule and we're quite happy with the performance, we're not being delayed. The cards were going to be announced in the presentation but it's better if we wait and respond to what Nvidia is going to do, since they are dominant on the market. Why not watch what they're going to do, wait, and react? It's good for competition and gamers are the ones who end up winning.
-M: So you're saying AMD is willing to keep a philosophy of offering price to performance?
F: When we announce RDNA4 it's going to be a powerful card. It's not going to be a 300 dollar card, but not a 1000 dollar card either. I'm giving you a wide range here (laughs). It's going to be something most people look at and they will say "it has good price and performance". It's going to perform similar to a 7800XT or 7900 GRE, that kind of performance and price (price/performance). You see the benchmarks and say "this is good value". That's the RDNA 4 strategy. A different strategy.
-M: In summary we're getting better RT, upscaling and interpolation with ML in these cards?
F: MUCH better. MUCH MUCH BETTER.
"RDNA4 are the only cards with the compute power to run FSR4 as it is right now. Our strategy with FSR4 is putting it in a lot of devices but there are hardware limitations. We want to optimize it, but it's RDNA4 exclusive now."
