As mentioned in my previous email, as per our policy, the customer takes in charge the cost for shipping the defective unit to our collection center and we are paying for the return of the hard drive from the collection center to our final depots in Poland, as well as the shipping costs of the replacement via UPS.

We would be more than happy to provide you as a one time goodwill gesture a UPS prepaid label for shipping us the defective unit, but you have already shipped the drive and we cannot refund shipping costs.
The article that you provided in your previous email, is referring to vendors, not the manufacturers. By contacting us, you contacted the manufacturer. Western Digital is complying with the Law.
