Sanctuary Ignites with Itemization & Systems Changes

https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/article/24243142/sanctuary-ignites-with-itemization-systems-changes

Prepare yourself, wanderer. There are permanent changes coming to the way you play Diablo IV. Arriving with Season 11, we are overhauling the way Itemization, monster combat, player defense, all function. Additionally, this Season introduces The Tower, a multi-stage dungeon where completion can earn you a spot on The Leaderboard, which is making its triumphant return. These changes all affect both Seasonal and Eternal Realms.

To get your hands on any of these features coming with Season 11, check out the 2.5.0 PTR, available on October 21 for PC Battle.net users. For more details on the 2.5.0 PTR, read our blog here.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Bartuc's Reign of Chaos quest could appear completed even though not enough Veneration had been acquired.
  • Fixed an issue where Bonestorm would occasionally be canceled prematurely.
  • Fixed an issue where Ramaladni's Magnum Opus still referenced "using this weapon" when it appeared as Chaos Armor.
  • Fixed an issue where Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty's Unique Power would last an insufficient duration while gaining Berserking.
  • Fixed an issue where Twisting Blades sometimes couldn't hit Hellwyrms when attacking from behind.
  • Fixed an issue where the Harbinger of Hatred Tormented Echo could jump through the fog wall.
  • Fixed an issue where some cosmetic items from previous seasons appeared locked.

Vähän ihmettelin osaa näistä. Toivottavasti nyt ei käy niin et pitää alkaa jotain karkuun luikkivia mobeja jahtaamaan tai koko ruudun tappavat buildit entistä parempia.

Monster Combat Changes

Improved Monster Behavior

Monsters will better react and adapt to combat in their express desire to end your life. Each monster should now have its own clear role and own identity when fighting. Monster behavior was previously too predictable; they’ll now be more dynamic in how they respond to you in combat.

Deadlier Enemies Lurk

Expect your defenses to be tested by your enemies; you’ll be more regularly dealt damage from these intelligent packs. Monster affixes will also be more powerful, making them more necessary to deal with before moving on to other less important enemies.

Monster packs will also group up less, making them harder to take out in one fell swoop. Their tactics have improved, and so yours should too. Additionally, Champion enemy rarity have been reworked to form champion packs.
