Ratkaistu Elisa ADSL 2+, Asus DSL N55U-D1 ei nouse linjalle

Muutimme uuteen asuntoon, jossa ei ole enää kuitua vaan perinteinen puhelinpistokkeen kautta tuleva Elisan 20M -liittymä (ADSL2+). Vanha Telew(h)ell EAV510 v2 nousee linjalle samalla puhelinjohdolla ja netti toimii, mutta eilen ostettu Asus DSL-N55U-D1 ei sitten niin millään.

- ADSL-valo syttyy
- Internet -valo ei syty
- Firmware on päivitetty uusimpaan versioon
- Tehdasasetuksille on palautettu 2 kertaa
- Hallinnan ohjattu asennus ei tunnista Internetiä, ei Finland/Elisa tai Finland/Saunalahti asetuksilla
- Olen yrittänyt muuttaa hallinnaksi VCI:ksi 33 -> 100, mutta tällöin aletaan kysellä PPP-salasanaa ja tunnuksia

Onko kyseessä ns. tyhmä käyttäjä -ongelma, vai mikä maksaa?

PPPOE salasanajuttua ei taida olla enää kenelläkään käytössä, mutta tuo VCI arvon pitäisi kyllä pystyä muuttamaan ilman että se aktivoituu.

Offtopic: Miksi et laita 4G LTE? Itselle ei tulisi kuuloonkaan että laittaisin enää jotain 20/1 DSL nettiä. Porukoiden luo maaseudulle saa ADSLllä 39€/kk 16/0,8 netin ja 4Gllä 10/10 12€/kk niin ei paljoa tarvi miettiä kumpi käytössä. Nopeammaksikin saisi mutta eivät tarvi.

Sieltä löytyi valinta jolla voi syöttää omat arvot, Elisan palstan neuvoilla kokeilin näitä:

Connection type MER, Encapsulation LLC, VPI/VCI 0/100, ja VLAN 0 (oma paras arvaus), myös tyhjällä arvolla kokeiltu ...

... tilanne sama. Olen aiemmin kokeillut 4G LTE:tä mutta nopeudet heittelivät silloin (3 vuotta sitten) niin pahasti, että illalla tuli itku silmään kun yritin Iltalehteä lukea.

Jos tuossa mallissa on 2 "WAN" porttia ja molemmissa on ollut jokin laite kiinni, niin koita auttaako jos kytket puhelinpistokkeelta tulevan piuhan DSL kohtaan (reunimmainen) ja jätät sen toisen sinisen portin tyhjäksi. Resetoi vielä varmuuden vuoksi tuon kytkennän jälkeen (paina tarpeeksi pitkään resettiä).

1 x DSL + 1 x WAN + 4 x LAN, ei ole ollut, ja tehdasasetuksia kokeiltu.

Pelittää sitten lopulta Elisan etätuen yhteydenoton jälkeen. Saattaa olla, että linjaan Elisan päästä tehty resetointi auttoi.
