"While Wardogs gives a really, really good incentive for teamplay through its reward system, like healing, building, flying, etc., one thing is completely missing:
Communication.
Coordinating as a whole team currently only works through chat, or with some luck via local chat. There isn't, for example like in Hell Let Loose or other games, a leader chat (where only squad leaders are, for instance), and on top of that, often a commander who tries to coordinate the team, using various markers on the map, etc.
None of that exists here. The squad mechanic has exactly one advantage: I'm in a squad chat. That's it, nothing else. There's also no way to communicate with other squads except through chat. In combat? While flying? No thanks.
So while the gameplay mechanics reward teamplay, communication and coordination are almost impossible. I find that really, really unfortunate!
Especially as a pilot, it would be cool if, for example, there were squads that focus on destroying anti-air, or if you could give squads specific orders.
Yes, that would technically be possible via chat, but it's very cumbersome, and from experience, 80% of players don't even pay attention to chat anyway."
