Ja uutta tilannepäivitystä gigantilta Asus Prime RTX5080 liittyen.

MSI:ltä päivitystä saatavuuteen:

"GPU stock - even our product manager does not know when new stock will arrive (even for largest countries this is not available)"

20.2. alkaa 5070 Ti myynti ja oletettavasti viikkoa myöhemmin 5070, nämä voivat hieman helpottaa painetta pitkässä juoksussa. Varsinkin kun AMD:n 9070/9070 XT tulee maaliskuun alussa.
 
Tässä on hyvinkin vaara että kun tällä viikolla viimeiset tipat ennen kiinalaista uutta vuota tehtyä tavaraa (5080, 5090) saapuu, sen jälkeen voi olla kuivaa jonkin aikaa. 5070ti/5070 julkaisuerät on myös luonnollisesti valmistettu jo etukäteen ja alkavat olla jälleenmyyjien varastossa ja näissäkin voi olla se efekti että lisää ei sitten tule muutamaan viikkoon.

Iso GPU-julkaisu juuri ennen kiinalaista uutta vuotta on kyllä niin fail ettei mitään rajaa. Ja sitten kun yhdistetään se siihen että tavaraa oli valmiina launchiin ehkä 10% siitä mitä olisi pitänyt olla... (koskee niin 5080 kuin 5090), soppa on valmis.
 
Sit ku tavara liikkuu nii köyhät duunarit lyö kapuloita rattaisiin menemällä lakkoon ja taas on tavara jumissa satamissa ja varastoissa.
 
Aamulla kun katselin Jimmssiä niin olivat sitten vissiin lyöneet tähän asti niin 5+1 kpl 5090 kortteja ja 22+ 5080 kortteja prebuildeihin (tai sitten 5080 vaihdellaan eri mallien kesken ja totuus lukumäärästä on pienempi kuin tuo 22kpl) - siellä aika kova kasa rautaa pölyttämässä hyllyssä xD

Onko kellään muuten tietoa Powerin / Gigabyten tilanteesta - itse kun tiedustelin niin "EOS, mutta jokin määrä on tulossa koska eivät muuten olisi lyöneet näkyviin nettiin" - minä kuukautena/vuonna suattuapi olla sitten toinen asia =D
 
Below was taken away from the swedish overclocker forum.
Someone got called yesterday apparently and got told their 5090 is cancelled and they would not get them again.
Same for some 5080 model it appears.
Seems like the same error went across all the Giganttis so not much hope and not like there is much choice out there but better to look elsewhere if you can and not get your hopes up for those who are waiting like me.
Not sure if the law is the same here and in sweden, that after taking the money you can just cancel it because you will never get the card or any 5090/5080 again. :)

They don't can't cancel the order without the consent of the buyer, they will need fill the order it's just part of the business risk, if gigantti or someone else sells products "too much"

I kind of assumed that maybe you cannot just cancel the order and was told so myself from a friend, so it very much surprised me when I came across these messages. Though what choice do you really have in the end when they say they will not be getting them again? Of course I do not know how the conversation exactly went and can only go after what's written there, I don't want to speculate either but I assume if you are being told there is just no gpus in stock again, you will have to cancel it yourself then.. :-(

They simply lie. Same happened when rtx3080 was released and shortly after it. They cancelled orders with same excuse, only to sell the exact same card later with 500€ higher price tag. After the ”we do not get this card anymore”-message they also refused to change the card to another model because it was different brand (from gigabyte to palit) and different cooler(from blower card to nonblower) and by their logic this meant also different product—> refused to deliver any card

Edit: my advice is to avoid buying any pc components from gigantti. It is a store focused on selling TVs and freezers to old people. If there is any issues with your order their customer service has close to 0 understanding about the products (talking about pc components here).

Astralissa ja vanhemmissa 4090 on pinnikohtainen amppeerimittaus. 8,33A pitäisi olla maksimi eli 100W per johdin. Jostain syystä jotkut 5090FE:t ottavat virtaa epätasaisesti, esim 22A, kuten derbauerilla. Mistä tämä johtuu, ei ole selvää.

Kyselin näistä samat +mahdollista eräkokoa jo viime viikolla ja odottelen edelleen vastausta. Jospa sinulla olisi parempi tuuri.

Luulen, että avautuu myyntiin tuolloin 13.2 aikana x sikäli mikäli eräkoko on sellainen, että siitä vielä jää ylitse jotain myytävää eli, kun julkkarista tilatut on saatu liikkeelle. :hmm:
