Apua muistien hankintaan?

Hitto kun oon ihan pihalla noista nykyajan raudoista ja nyt tarvii kyllä ehdottomasti lisää muistia, kun musakone tökkii niin pahast :-(

Koneeni on HP ELite 7300, spekseissä sanotaan jotta:

The memory sockets on the system board are as follows:
– Four DIMM slots for HP Pro 3305

These memory sockets are populated with at least one preinstalled DIMM. To achieve the maximum memory support, you can populate the system board with up to:
– 16 GB for HP Pro 3305

For proper system operation, the DDR3-SDRAM DIMMs must be:

• industry-standard 240-pin
• unbuffered non-ECC PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 MHz-compliant
• 1.5 volt DDR3-SDRAM DIMMs

The DDR3-SDRAM DIMMs must also:

• support CAS latency 9 DDR3 1333 MHz (9-9-9 timing)
• contain the mandatory JEDEC SPD information

In addition, the computer supports:

• 512-Mbit, 1-Gbit, and 2-Gbit non-ECC memory technologies
• single-sided and double-sided DIMMs
• DIMMs constructed with x8 and x16 DDR devices; DIMMs constructed with x4 SDRAM are not supported

Eli koneessa on neljä paikkaa, kahdessa väylässä tai jtn.. Kaksi niistä on varattu ja koneessa on 8Gt muistia. No mulla on tossa:

Olenko käsittänyt oikein, että:

- tossa kitissä on kaikenkaikkiaan 8G muistia (4+4)
- ja sen pitäisi käydä tohon koneeseen

Spekseissä jopa hehkutetaan että toimii ties missä moodissa, riippuen muisteista, mutta..

Ei tuo kone lähe käyntiin jos nuo törkkäään sisään :-o Molemmat parit toimivat kyllä "yksinään" mutta parikimppa ei onnaa jostain syystä? Emolla ne neljä paikkaa on 2xsinistä ja 2x"ruskeaa2.

Voiko tässä nyt olla joku hertsi tai muistimäärä tai joku semmonen ongelma.

Onko noiden asentamissa mitään rajoitteita? Miten niitä saa ristiin laittaa? Muistelisin että joskus olivat kuulemma hyvinkin kranttuja, mutta nyt en ymmärrä.. En huomannu kattoa moni hertsisiä ne sisällä nyt olevat on, täytynee yrittää uudelleen ja katsoa se..

Joka tapauksessa tarve ja kiire on kova, eli huomenna on saatava! Tai pompin tasajalkaa! Auttakee..

The system will automatically operate in single channel mode, dual channel mode, or flex mode, depending on how the DIMMs are installed.

• The system will operate in single channel mode if the DIMM sockets are populated in one channel only.
• The system will operate in a higher-performing dual channel mode if the total memory capacity of the DIMMs in Channel A is equal to the total memory capacity of the DIMMs in Channel B. The technology and device width can vary between the channels. For example, on model 3305, if Channel A is populated with two 1-GB DIMMs and Channel B is populated with one 2-GB DIMM, the system will operate in dual channel mode. On model 3300, if Channel A is populated with one 1-GB DIMM and Channel B is populated with one 2-GB DIMM, the system will operate in dual channel mode.
• The system will operate in flex mode if the total memory capacity of the DIMMs in Channel A is not equal to the total memory capacity of the DIMMs in Channel B. In flex mode, the channel populated with the least amount of memory describes the total amount of memory assigned to dual channel and the remainder is assigned to single channel. For optimal speed, the channels should be balanced so that the largest amount of memory is spread between the two channels. If one channel will have more memory than the other, the larger amount should be assigned to Channel A. For example, on model 3305, if you are populating the sockets with one 2-GB DIMM, and three 1-GB DIMMs, Channel A should be populated with the 2-GB DIMM and one 1-GB DIMM, and Channel B should be populated with the two 1-GB DIMMs. With this configuration, 4 GB will run as dual channel and 1 GB will run as single channel. On model 3300, if you are populating the sockets with one 2-GB DIMM, and one 1-GB DIMM, Channel A should be populated with the 2-GB DIMM, and Channel B should be populated with the 1-GB DIMM. With this configuration, 2 GB will run as dual channel and 1 GB will run as single channel.
• In any mode, the maximum operational speed is determined by the slowest DIMM in the system.

The system will automatically operate in single channel mode, dual channel mode, or flex mode, depending on how the DIMMs are installed.

Muisti on KVR1333D3N9HK2/8G

4 kampaa on aina huonompi vaihtoehto kuin 2, satunnainen yhteensopivuusongelma ehkä kyseessä eikä siihen auta kuin kampojen vaihto. Kannattaisi ehkä kokeilla 2*8GB kittiä noiden tilalle.

Eipä näy kone tukevan kuin max 4 gigan kampoja, joten 2x8gb on poissuljettu. Uusin BIOS päivitetty?

Veikkaisin vahvasti että tukee myös 8GB kampoja. Ihan normaalia ettei muistitukea ilmoiteta kammoille joita ei ole manuskan tekohetkellä olemassa.

Noi HP.t on ihan ihme vehkeitä. Mullakin on yks elitebook, niin muistin pitää olla just tiettyä kelloa ja erikoisuutena nimenomaan single side, eli piirit on vain toisella puolen. On muuten työn ja tuskan takana löytää toimivat tikut.
